A: If a Non-US size is available to us, by policy we will post that information in the auction - either is the "size sub-heading" or in the description.

The system automatically leaves positive feedback for all customers who have left positive feedback for MyTradingOutpost.


Q: How can I return a product? Do I need an RMA #?
A: Our return policy is clearly stated in every auction. If for any reason you need to return a product, you may do so by sending it back to us.  YOU DO NOT NEED TO CONTACT US TO RETURN A PRODUCT.  All returns must be made within 7 days period(ONLY) after the day you receive the product. Please include a reference to the auction or order number, and a note explaining your reason for returning the item. All items are processed by our returns team within 4-5 business days of receipt. Your Buy It Now or winning bid amount will be refunded via the method that you originally paid unless otherwise requested. S/H is not refundable unless product is deemed defective, specifically not as described, or the incorrect item was shipped to you. You do not need an RMA number for returns to MyTradingOutpost.  WE refund the winning bid PLUS shipping charge(less $1.50 insurance) for returns, e.i., there'll be a minimum of $6.50 restocking fee(or %20, whichever is greater) per item returned.  Items must be in their original condition. Please also see our return policy described in the eBay "Seller's return policy" section below.


Q: What if I need to exchange an item for a different size?
A: Since our inventory changes so fast, we cannot always guarantee availability of products for exchanges. You may contact our service team in advance to find out the likelyhood of exchange availablilty. To request an exchange, send your item back to us with the following information:

  1. A note specifiying your exchange request (1/2 size up or down of the same product only)
  2. A check or money order for $9.95 to cover the s/h of the new item to you
    We will always do our best to accomodate your request. In the event that the item you have requested is not available, we will process your item as a return, refund your Buy It Now or winning bid amount, and notify you that your included s/h check has been voided and disposed of.


Q: How long can I wait to pay for my item?
A: From the moment an auction ends or a Buy It Now is chosen, you have exactly 15 days to complete payment. On the 15th day, we will cancel the transaction, re-post the item for sale and file with eBay for a refund of Final Value Fees that we incurred on the sale.


Q: I am bidding on other items - does MyTradingOutpost offer combined shipping discounts?
A: If you win one item and complete our checkout immediately, you WILL NOT be eligible to receive combined shipping on subsequent items purchased or won. In order to qualify for our combined shipping discount, you must complete checkout AFTER all items are added to your cart. Items purchased using the same online ID (ie. ebay user ID) will automatically be consolidated into one checkout "cart" and will apply the combined shipping discount to your order total. Once a checkout has been completed, all subsequent transactions will be added to a new checkout "cart". Please remember that you still only have 15 days (from the transaction date) to complete checkout - otherwise all items in your checkout will be canceled, re-posted for sale, and will be submitted as a dispute with Ebay's Dispute Resolution Center.


Q: What is the measurement of this shoe in inches?
A: All items are stocked in our warehouse and not typically accessible to our service team for individual measurement. All available measurements will be noted by our receiving team and listed in our auction description.


Q: Can I buy this item instead of bidding on it?

A: If you like an item that's listed under Auction Format and you would like to do Buy It Now, you can email us with the item # of that product with your best offer and we'll consider your best offer of that product.


Q: How much is shipping for this item?
A: Shipping and handling rates are dependent upon the type of product as well as the shipping method you choose during checkout. Rates range from $14.99  to over $34.99 for International shipping. For exact s/h rates on your item(s), please refer to the description of each item.


Q: I live near MyTradingOutpost - Can I just pick up my item to avoid shipping fees?
A: Unfortunately, due to our lease agreement with our main warehouse, and since our warehouse is not a retail location, we cannot allow local pick-up.


Q:  What's your Payment Policy?
A:   Payment must be made within 3 days of the closing of auction.  There is no need to contact us to arrange payment. We will automatically send you an e-mail within 1 day of an auction closing.

We accept the following forms of payments:

For personal checks, funds must be available at the time of sending the personal check.  There'll be an additional $30 charge for each bounced check.

1) If you are the winning bidder

We will email you an invoice which will calculate your order total and give you the choice to pay via PayPal, Money Order/Cashier's check or Personal Check. Payment must be made in US funds and paid from a US bank ONLY.

If you fail to receive email notification after the auction close, please e-mail us for assistance. A failed response from us after the auction close usually means there is a problem routing the email, invalid email address, or slow relaying from the mail server.

Personal check orders will be held for up to 7 business days AFTER receiving your check for clearing purposes. When mailing payment, make sure to include a copy of the Checkout Confirmation page. Payment is expected to be mailed within 3 days of completing checkout.
